Evan is a Chartered Engineer with fifteen years’ experience with major International consultancy practices. His broad technical knowledge and problem solving ability fuels his motivation, and his eye for detail is behind the numerous innovative schemes he has developed in conjunction with architects and designers alike.
At home, Evan is a busy father of three. All dreams of completing an Ironman have long faded, but he still enjoys the odd ride on his bike.
Caroline is a highly qualified and experienced Chartered Engineer with an unusual background in Fine Art and Engineering. Caroline believes that building services installations have the potential to be bold and beautiful when exact engineering meets architectural creativity, thereby becoming an integrated feature of the design rather than a hidden necessity.
Caroline’s resourcefulness is put to good use when she is wild camping in the Scottish Highlands – her idea of heaven.
Antony has recently joined WB Shiels as Director to lead one of our teams.
His UK and international project experience includes developments in the hotel, education, commercial and residential sectors.
He has led the building services team in undertaking hotel developments all over the world, and manages existing-building surveys in relation to services and sustainability. Completing the MEP consultant and coordination teams in London, Frankfurt and Dubai.
A full Member of both the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and of the Institution of Engineering Technology (IET), Chris was previously a founding Partner in a very successful and established M&E design consultancy. His keen interest in architecture drives his desire to see Building Services Engineering evolve into a more creative and inclusive function, contributing to design rather than detracting from it.
Work aside, Chris is a keen skier and a Tough Mudder!
James joined WB Shiels in 2015 with over 13 years’ experience within the Building Services industry. His experience covers projects from small fast-paced fit outs through to large scale infrastructure projects, spanning diverse sectors from airports, residential, hotels, offices to retail. It is the technical challenges which drive James – whether exploring innovative ways to integrate services into the architectural design or maximising energy efficiency.
Outside of work, James is usually out with his Lab Woody in Windsor Great Park or enjoying a pint at one of the surrounding pubs.
