Every member of our team has honed their skills in the most creative and technically demanding MEP sectors.
Our workload is rich and rewarding, diverse and engaging. Categorising what we do brings a risk of restriction… or worse; being pigeonholed! We would rather reinforce our interest in great architecture and great interior design, and let nature take it’s course, organically. Nonetheless, the following sectors provide a brief insight into the type of works we typically enjoy and embrace. The list is not exhaustive (that would be tiresome) but it is representative.

Retail
Fast paced and fast track, the retail sector is unique. Projects usually start with a late appointment and a challenging programme. Design and construction programmes are both frantic, and commissioning is carried out at break neck speed. Then it’s over, as quickly as it began. We cut our teeth on the extreme demands of this sector (and, to be honest, we enjoy the adrenaline rush).
Our individual and collective back catalogue is extensive. In fact, take a stroll down Regent Street and across to Bond Street and you’ll see many examples of our work. There’s a rather grand old department store on Oxford Street, and, over in Knightsbridge, another landmark retail institution – both famous the world over, and again you will find our extensive trail with ease. We’ve been fortunate over the years to work with the very best and wherever you look in the world of high-end retail, our fingerprints won’t be far away. We prefer not to name names. But if brands like Cartier and Chanel pop into your head, you’ll certainly be getting warm…

Aviation
The UK airport environment presents unique challenges for the MEP designer. National security and public safety are always high on the agenda, whilst engineering and construction standards set a benchmark where other sectors often follow.
Our experience spans both airside and landside locations, delivering terminal infrastructure as well as high quality fit-out for end users, airlines, support services and retail operations. Airports provide a diverse, stimulating workload and we enjoy the challenging technical nature of these projects. The years have taught us that in this sector, discipline and organisation are the order of the day.

Commercial
Where do we start, so much potential, so much variety. Of course, we do offices. Who doesn’t?
Increasingly, however, we are involved with more stimulating and inventive urban regeneration schemes. We’ve worked on mixed-use developments, factories, warehouses, leisure facilities and gyms. We’ve even designed the services for a very special medical and wellness clinic - this in association with a RIBA ‘Stirling Prize’ winning architectural practice. Think Bulgari Spa meets Harley Street, it’s unique.
But nobody wants to read a list of everything we’ve done. Suffice to say that our door is always open, particularly to interesting individual projects.
Whatever the challenge we will tackle it with all the ingenuity, enthusiasm and commitment that has got us to where we are today.

Restaurants
Restaurants and particularly the highest quality fine dining restaurants are a core speciality which has been refined and honed over the years. We’ve worked with multi outlet operators, serial entrepreneurs and individual mavericks with a passion and a vision.
A large commercial kitchen is effectively a high volume food production operation requiring robust and resilient MEP services to provide reassuringly reliable service. A few feet away, discerning diners demand a refined dining experience: a draught-free hushed environment, creatively illuminated with imagination, and oozing with style. It is easy to underestimate the nuances and complexity of services design in such restaurants.
At the other end of the scale, we have extensive experience with fast food chains, cafés and gastropubs, offering everything from burgers to beer and donuts to coffee. Always hard work, but always rewarding, this is a sector where the MEP engineer really earns his crust.

Residential
It has been said that an Englishman’s home is his castle, which is all very good – but who actually wants to live in a castle? Sorry Ma’am.
The high-end residential sector often provides a rare opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the real client: the homeowner. By their nature these properties and developments are all different, all bespoke, and for that reason right up our street.

From the traditional charm of a terraced mews in Mayfair to the breathtaking scale of a converted theatre in Covent Garden, our experience and expertise is now in high demand on the residential scene.
